General aftercare for dermal fillers

    We do not carry out treatment during pregnancy and while breastfeeding (treatment is possible again 2 weeks post-pregnancy/ post breastfeeding).

    The presence of children under 18 years of age is not allowed during treatments of any kind. However, adolescents over 14 years of age may wait in the waiting room on their own.

    If you are accompanied by a younger child, only consultation is possible, as our staff is not legally permitted to supervise them.

    Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in the same region within one session is not possible! Here, a minimum interval of 2 weeks is required.

    Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in different regions is possible. 

    • Please eat and drink before the treatment to avoid unnecessary circulatory reactions.
    • Please do not drink alcohol on the day of treatment.
    • No injections in acute allergic reactions.
    • Avoid any blood-thinning medication.
    • Avoid any painkillers with blood-thinning effect (e.g. aspirin, thomapyrin).
    • Avoid any products that contain ginkgo.
    • No infections / colds / herpes etc.
    • Do not take any antibiotics or cortisone.
    • Avoid laser treatments in the treatment region.
    • Avoid invasive cosmetic treatments (such as microneedling, microdermabrasion etc.).
    • Avoid any dental treatments (including dental cleaning and bleaching).
    • Avoid any vaccinations.
    • No laser therapy/tattooing (including permanent make-up/microblading).
    • No piercings.
    • No surgery (including dental surgery).
    • No COVID-19 vaccination.

    On the day of the treatment:

    • No smoking for at least 4 hours after.
    • Do not wear any makeup or lipstick.
    • Do not drink any alcohol.
    • No sport, exercise or excess physical activity.
    • No sauna, solarium and excess sun exposure.
    • Avoid any facial massages or invasive cosmetic facial treatments.
    • Avoid any dental treatments, including dental cleaning or bleaching.
    • No vaccinations / no COVID-19 vaccination.
    • No laser treatment in any area.
    • No microblading/permanent makeup/ tattooing.
    • No laser treatment in the treatment area.
    • Do not consume any hot drinks and food for at least 4 hours.
    • No kissing for 24 hours.
    • Do not use any lipstick/lip care on the following day.
    • No dental treatment, including dental cleaning or bleaching for at least 4 weeks.
    • Stay hydrated: drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
    • Slight unevenness or bumps in the treated area can be gently massaged from the third day after treatment.
    • If necessary, the treated area can be cooled with a cooling pad (not from the freezer!) after the injection. Please only do so for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time.
